However, the benefits of this measure have hardly been scientifically proven to date. In the FRESH-UP Trial &#8211; a large randomized study by the Radboud University Medical Center (NL) &#8211; the effects on health-related quality of life after three months were examined in one group each with vs. without fluid restriction.
