Conventional therapies are based primarily on antifungals, topical corticosteroids, and calcineurin inhibitors. However, new therapeutic approaches are being investigated, including PDE4 inhibitors (roflumilast, crisaborol, and apremilast), topical and oral JAK inhibitors, probiotics, and therapies targeting the microbiome.
