In cases of chest pain caused by coronary insufficiency, acute coronary syndrome (ACS) should be considered. There is an increased risk in men aged \u226555 and women aged \u226565, as well as in patients with known vascular disease and when symptoms are exertion-dependent. If ACS is suspected, an ECG should be performed as soon as possible after the initial consultation. If there are signs of ACS, immediate hospitalization and intensive care should be initiated. Thanks to medical advances, the prognosis has improved, but to ensure that \u201cbest-practice\u201d management works effectively, there are several factors to consider.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n
