About one-third of patients suffer from moderate to severe hand eczema. The treatment of CHE aims to provide long-term relief of symptoms so that patients can achieve a good quality of life and resume their normal daily activities. Many of those affected either do not respond adequately to topical steroids (TCS) or experience side effects with prolonged use.
