La base mecanicista abarca desde efectos antiaterog\u00e9nicos y protectores del endotelio hasta mecanismos antiinflamatorios y de protecci\u00f3n cardiaca directa, pasando por una reducci\u00f3n sustancial del peso con cambios favorables en la presi\u00f3n arterial y los l\u00edpidos.
