L&#8217;activit\u00e9 de mTORC2 n&#8217;a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9montr\u00e9e que dans certaines cellules immunitaires, qui ont toutefois besoin de cette prot\u00e9ine pour combattre les cellules canc\u00e9reuses.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> <!--more--> <\/p>\n<p>Une tumeur n&#8217;est pas seulement compos\u00e9e de cellules canc\u00e9reuses, elle contient \u00e9galement un grand nombre de cellules immunitaires qui luttent normalement contre les cellules canc\u00e9reuses. Cependant, de nombreuses tumeurs ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 des strat\u00e9gies pour reprogrammer les cellules immunitaires afin qu&#8217;elles soutiennent la croissance tumorale. A l&#8217;\u00e8re de l&#8217;immunoth\u00e9rapie, qui r\u00e9active tr\u00e8s efficacement le syst\u00e8me immunitaire, l&#8217;\u00e9tude de l&#8217;interaction entre les cellules tumorales et les cellules immunitaires est d&#8217;une grande importance.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"mtorc2-soutient-la-croissance-tumorale-mais-pas-toujours\">mTORC2 soutient la croissance tumorale &#8211; mais pas toujours<\/h2>\n<p>La prot\u00e9ine mTORC2 joue un r\u00f4le important dans la tumorigen\u00e8se et est actuellement la cible d&#8217;une s\u00e9rie de nouveaux m\u00e9dicaments capables d&#8217;inhiber avec succ\u00e8s la croissance des cellules canc\u00e9reuses en \u00e9prouvette. On s&#8217;attend donc \u00e0 ce que les inhibiteurs de mTORC2 soient efficaces \u00e0 l&#8217;avenir dans de nombreux types de cancer, y compris le cancer colorectal. Cependant, une \u00e9quipe de chercheurs vient de d\u00e9couvrir que mTORC2 n&#8217;est en fait pas actif dans les cellules canc\u00e9reuses de l&#8217;intestin, mais uniquement dans les macrophages qui combattent normalement les cellules canc\u00e9reuses. Ils ont d\u00e9montr\u00e9 qu&#8217;une activit\u00e9 mTORC2 \u00e9lev\u00e9e dans les macrophages est importante pour supprimer la croissance du cancer colorectal dans un mod\u00e8le animal. Ils ont en outre constat\u00e9 que chez les patients atteints de cancer colorectal, une activit\u00e9 mTORC2 \u00e9lev\u00e9e dans les macrophages est associ\u00e9e \u00e0 une \u00e9volution favorable.
