Plus la valeur de l&#8217;indice est \u00e9lev\u00e9e, plus le risque de coup de soleil est important en cas d&#8217;exposition au soleil sans protection. Les valeurs d&#8217;indice UV sont associ\u00e9es \u00e0 des recommandations de protection solaire approuv\u00e9es au niveau international.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<!--more-->\n\n<p>&#8220;Dans le cadre des changements provoqu\u00e9s par le changement climatique, l&#8217;exposition aux rayons UV est particuli\u00e8rement importante d&#8217;un point de vue dermatologique, car les risques de cancer de la peau qui en d\u00e9coulent sont encore sous-estim\u00e9s par la population&#8221;, explique le professeur Mark Berneburg, directeur de la clinique et polyclinique de dermatologie de l&#8217;h\u00f4pital universitaire de Regensburg (D). Les cancers de la peau sont en augmentation depuis des d\u00e9cennies, ce qui rend la sensibilisation \u00e0 la protection solaire d&#8217;autant plus importante en tant que mesure de pr\u00e9vention essentielle. Dans ce contexte, il est \u00e9galement important de savoir \u00e0 quelles charges on peut s&#8217;attendre le jour en question. Le professeur Berneburg fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 la r\u00e8gle g\u00e9n\u00e9rale suivante : &#8220;Plus l&#8217;indice UV est \u00e9lev\u00e9, plus les coups de soleil apparaissent rapidement sur une peau non prot\u00e9g\u00e9e et plus il faut se prot\u00e9ger&#8221;.  <\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#abb7c273\"><tbody><tr><td><strong>Service d&#8217;indice UV de M\u00e9t\u00e9oSuisse<br\/><\/strong>Les rayons UVA (315-400 nm) acc\u00e9l\u00e8rent le vieillissement de la peau. Ils peuvent \u00e9galement provoquer des allergies au soleil ou des tumeurs cutan\u00e9es. Les rayons UVB (280\u2013315 nm) sont responsables du bronzage de la peau, mais en m\u00eame temps des coups de soleil. Ils favorisent le risque de d\u00e9velopper un cancer de la peau. Les rayons UV sont plus intenses en montagne qu&#8217;en plaine, car plus on monte en altitude, plus ils ont d&#8217;effets. Les mesures de protection devraient donc aller de soi.
