Um exame cl\u00ednico e um exame das unhas podem fornecer informa\u00e7\u00f5es valiosas sobre doen\u00e7as pneumol\u00f3gicas. A s\u00edndrome de Swyer-James (SJS) \u00e9 uma forma rara de bronquiolite obliterante p\u00f3s-infecciosa que ocorre normalmente ap\u00f3s infec\u00e7\u00f5es respirat\u00f3rias virais. A manifesta\u00e7\u00e3o radiol\u00f3gica t\u00edpica \u00e9 uma diferen\u00e7a na transluc\u00eancia pulmonar. O pulm\u00e3o afetado parece hipertransparente.
