The prevalence of atrial fibrillation is increasing and efforts are underway to implement innovative care concepts. In this context, a digitalized patient training course was evaluated as part of a pilot study. INFORM-AF combines authentic case-based learning scenarios with real-time audit and feedback and provides online links to evidence-based learning materials. The results were positive and there are plans to conduct larger prospective clinical studies on this training program.
