Patented plasma technology destroys viruses, bacteria and VOCs

Running a medical practice economically requires healthy and motivated employees as well as satisfied patients. However, it is no secret that there is an increased risk of infection in medical practices. As a result, the number of days employees are absent due to illness reduces the performance of the practice. The air technology specialist AL-KO offers the revolutionary solution with the air purifier AL-KO Pure. The air purifier is the world’s first device to destroy pollutants such as viruses, bacteria, mold spores and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) thanks to patented plasma technology.

In medical practices, these toxic vapors originate, for example, from cleaning agents and disinfectants or other medical aids. Even when the legal limit for VOC concentration is exceeded by a factor of 10, the unit achieves an efficiency of almost 100 percent. This is confirmed both by the renowned École Polytechnique in Paris and by DEKRA in Stuttgart.

Especially in medical facilities, the risk of viruses and bacteria plays a major role. After all, who hasn’t experienced it: the waiting room is full, everyone is sniffling, coughing, and you get the feeling that the doctor’s office is one big breeding ground for illness. Especially in highly sensitive areas such as the treatment rooms, however, even clean air is not sufficient. The solution is called AL-KO Pure. The device almost completely destroys bacterial and viral pathogens and, unlike many conventional air purifiers, does not release ozone. In fact, AL-KO Pure even reduces the concentration of ozone in the indoor air.

Ideal for rooms up to 60 square meters, 130 cubic meters of air are sucked into the unit from below per hour. An F7 pre-filter removes coarse particles such as pollen, pet hair and dust. The plasma then destroys viruses, minute bacteria and dust mite particles just as reliably as fine dust and toxic vapors (VOCs). Last but not least, the three-way cartridge lowers the ozone content of the air and reduces odors in the room, for example from disinfectants or the smell of sweat.

Thanks to the puristic BUSSE design, AL-KO Pure fits into any ambience and can also be used in continuous operation thanks to its whisper-quiet operation. Practical and simple: AL-KO Pure indicates a pending change of the 3-filter cartridge and at the same time automatically switches off the plasma when the filter is used up.

An air sensor also provides constant information about the existing air quality, which can be intuitively regulated at the touch of a finger.
