The link between metabolic factors and diabetic foot (DF) is well recognized, but the impact of metabolic derailment on the chances of recovery is less well understood. Dr. Francesco Giangreco from the University of Pisa and colleagues conducted a study to investigate the impact of metabolic derailments on the chances of recovery in a cohort of severely ill patients with diabetic foot syndrome.
