At the ESC Congress 2025, several guidelines and a consensus document were published or revised, which together will have a noticeable impact on everyday cardiology: a focused update on lipid management, new guidelines on myocarditis/pericarditis, a comprehensive update on cardiovascular disease in pregnancy and the recommendations on valve disease developed jointly with the EACTS. In addition, a clinical consensus statement sets out how mental health should be systematically integrated into cardiovascular care.
