After Madisch et al. provided convincing evidence for a proprietary combination of peppermint and caraway oil for functional gastrointestinal disorders (FGID) in a meta-analysis, Storr et al. recently conducted a subgroup analysis of this data. This showed that FGID patients benefit from the phytotherapeutic agent regardless of age and gender.
