Primary care faces a variety of challenges. Various initiatives have been launched to ensure that the population receives high-quality healthcare in the long term. The Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine at the University of Lucerne and the research and consulting institute “Interface Politikstudien” have published an action plan as part of the “Health 2040” project. This aims to ensure sustainable and future-proof outpatient primary care in Switzerland.
