Abdominal pain – Inguinal testicles

Undescended testicles (maldescensus testis) are one of the most common congenital anomalies of the urogenital tract in male newborns. Testicular dystopia describes a positional anomaly
of the testicle on its natural descent path; subtypes include abdominal testicles and inguinal testicles. In the case of cryptorchidism, further diagnostic investigations are required to determine the position of the testicle.
