MCAS is now understood as an independent disorder in contrast to systemic or cutaneous mastocytosis. The signs and symptoms can affect the skin, the gastrointestinal tract and the cardiovascular system, for example. In a case series, clinical and paraclinical features were characterized from a cohort of MCAS patients diagnosed in the period 2022–2024.
