Most pancreatic pseudocysts are associated with pancreatitis and regress spontaneously. If pseudocysts cause symptoms or lead to complications, they can be treated endoscopically-interventional or surgically. Pancreatic pseudocysts can be differentiated from cystic pancreatic neoplasms by endosonography.
