Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most common childhood cancer. Children with newly diagnosed B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) with standard risk (SR) have a high survival rate when treated with conventional chemotherapy. The chances of survival deteriorate if a relapse occurs.
