In recent years, social media has become an integral part of young people’s everyday lives. Platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat not only determine social interaction, but also self-perception and mental well-being. At the same time, the number of young people suffering from depression is increasing. Numerous studies are now investigating the connection between social media use and mental health.
