The German Society for Pneumology and Respiratory Medicine (DGP) and the German Society for Allergology and Clinical Immunology (DGAKI) have developed the S2k guideline “Diagnosis and treatment of exogenous allergic alveolitis”. The last recommendations on the diagnosis of EAA were issued in 2007. The new guideline replaces these, adds the aspect of chronic, in particular chronic fibrotic forms of EAA and also provides therapy recommendations for the first time.
