Compared to other inflammatory pathologies, relatively few structures are recognizable in granulomatous diseases on dermoscopic examination. The absence of characteristic structures and the diffuse orange-yellowish color are of differential diagnostic value in distinguishing them from other non-granulomatous pathologies. Király et al. have specified the dermatoscopic picture of various granulomatous diseases with a special focus on distinguishing features.
