Alteplase and Tenecteplase Are on the Same Level

In acute ischemic stroke (AIS), rapid reperfusion therapy is a clinical priority. Although alteplase has been the standard thrombolytic agent for many years, its short half-life requires administration as a bolus followed by a prolonged infusion. Tenecteplase offers several practical and pharmacological advantages as an alternative. However, there is still limited real-world data directly comparing the two agents.
