How digital nutrition programs can slow down weight loss in ALS. Why relatives are crucial for the success of therapy. A web-based intervention for calorie optimization proved to be easy to implement in ALS patients and was used consistently. It combines personalized goals, feedback and telemedical support. The article classifies the benefits and limitations of the evidence and shows in a practical way how structured nutritional therapy can support the course of the disease.
