Meckel’s diverticulum is one of the most common congenital anomalies of the gastrointestinal system with an estimated prevalence of about 2% in the general population. Although it often remains asymptomatic, complications such as intestinal obstruction, bleeding and inflammation can occur, which can be life-threatening. Chinese doctors were dealing with an unusual case due to its location and size.
