Crohn’s disease (CD) is often associated with extraintestinal symptoms (EIM). However, the connection with mental disorders is also being increasingly emphasized. Spanish scientists analyzed the frequency and severity of depression in patients with CD, shedding light on the often underestimated psychological dimension of this disease.
