Reducing greenhouse gas emissions is a major challenge. Inhalers have a significant impact on the environment due to their greenhouse gas emissions. However, inhalation therapy plays a fundamental and essential role in the treatment of patients with cystic fibrosis. They therefore represent a target group with high potential for the implementation of strategic measures to reduce the environmental impact of devices.
