Wearables such as smartwatches are already an integral part of our everyday lives. They track our pulse, the number of steps we take and our sleep rhythm. Glucose measurement using CGM systems is currently considered the gold standard. Can Dincer, Professor of Sensors and Wearables for Healthcare at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), explains in an interview in which direction the development can still go in the future.
