The lower leg extensor sides are considered to be the predilection site for pyoderma gangraenosum. However, due to heterogeneous manifestations and overlaps with other diseases, diagnosis can be a challenge. Against this background, the PARACELSUS score was developed a few years ago. A research team at Essen University Hospital recently conducted a multicenter study to test the validity of the score.
