Friedreich’s ataxia is associated with multisystemic manifestations such as cardiomyopathy, scoliosis, and diabetes. The progression of the disease is typically characterized by a gradual decline in neurological function and activities of daily living. In long-term analyses from the MOXIe study program, researchers evaluated the efficacy and safety of omaveloxolone with a follow-up period of up to six years.
