Biotin, also known as “vitamin B7”, is sometimes referred to as “vitamin H” in reference to the terms “hair and skin”. There are many myths surrounding the question of whether supplementation is beneficial for hair loss. In a literature review published last year, Dr. Allyson Yelich and colleagues looked at the scientific evidence on biotin supplementation and hair loss.
