The digitalization of GP care is making increasing progress, including in Switzerland. Examples of this include digitized medication plans and electronic patient records. In order to investigate the experiences and attitudes of GPs and older adults with regard to IT-supported medication management and eHealth tools in general and to identify barriers to their use, an international research team conducted a survey study, the results of which were published in 2025.
