The most important therapeutic goal in ulcerative colitis is clinical and endoscopic remission. For moderate to severe disease activity, various options for therapy escalation are available. A non-interventional study examined the option of using vedolizumab and tofacitinib after anti-TNFα therapy failure and a recent secondary analysis looked at the use of IL-23p19 inhibitors.
