Asthma is one of the most common chronic diseases during pregnancy. Despite this, targeted research in this area remains relatively limited and translation into optimal maternal care remains a challenge. Current findings on epidemiology, pregnancy-related airway changes, associated comorbidities and therapeutic strategies relevant to asthma management during pregnancy will be presented.
