The circadian rhythm and the quality of sleep regulate important biological processes. Disruption of this rhythm increases the likelihood of developing chronic diseases. During intermittent fasting in Ramadan (IFR), sleep and wake cycles are often disrupted, which can affect physical activity (PA) and associated metabolic responses. However, knowledge of the impact of sleep disruption on PA in the general population during IFR is limited and largely unexplored.
