Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a major cause of morbidity and mortality in women worldwide, particularly those with adverse pregnancy outcomes such as gestational diabetes (GD). Although GD is an established marker of future cardiometabolic risk, the extent to which this risk can be influenced by sustained lifestyle changes remains unclear.
