A database analysis by the Early Breast Cancer Trials Collaborative Group (EBCTCG ) showed that obesity in early-stage breast cancer was only associated with increased breast cancer mortality in pre- and perimenopausal hormone receptor-positive (HR+) patients. A new study with a much larger patient population has now been presented at the SABCS [1].
