While renal cell carcinoma (RCC ) is the most common malignant tumor of the kidneys, accounting for around 90% of cases, oncocytoma is the rarest benign tumor of the kidneys [1]. If clinical symptoms are present, an ultrasound diagnosis is informative. Contrast-enhanced CT or MRI can be used for further imaging examinations. The latter provides diagnosis-relevant information with or without contrast medium.
