Bepirovir without prior nucleoside analog therapy

Innovative therapies focus either on reducing viral load or on stimulating HBV-specific immune cells—or both. The B-CLEAR study on bepirovir included two parallel cohorts: HBV patients with and without prior nucleoside analog therapy. The long-term efficacy and durability of the response are being investigated in the B-SURE study, which follows up on participants who completed the B-CLEAR study—both are Phase IIb studies.
