The phase III DESTINY-Breast11 trial shows that neoadjuvant trastuzumab deruxtecan (T-DXd) could provide an anthracycline-free treatment option for HER2-positive early breast cancer. The results suggest an effective and better tolerated alternative to standard anthracycline-containing regimens.
