Tracheal and bronchial calcifications are based on imaging findings that can indicate various underlying diseases. Those affected often suffer from a chronic cough. The diagnosis can be confirmed by X-ray examinations, but a high-resolution CT of the thorax is best suited for detailed visualization of the changes.
