Neuropsychiatric symptoms and cognitive impairments are common features of advanced Parkinson’s disease (PD), particularly among individuals who require long-term inpatient care. Although music-based interventions have shown benefits in patients with mild to moderate disease, the evidence is limited for those with advanced disease.
