Myasthenic syndromes result from a disturbance in neuromuscular transmission. Although there is still no curative treatment for myasthenia gravis, the drug treatment options available today offer tailored therapeutic approaches aimed at sustainably improving the quality of life for those affected. In this context, in addition to disease activity, antibody status is also becoming increasingly relevant to treatment, for example, in the indication of C5 complement inhibitors or FcRn blockers.
