Immunotherapy and Molecular Targets

New immunotherapy strategies for soft tissue sarcomas were presented at the 2026 ASCO Annual Meeting. The focus was on biomarker-based approaches using pembrolizumab and PD-L1 inhibition, which are also gaining increasing therapeutic relevance in other tumor types. The data show that immunological and molecular markers could play a decisive role in the treatment of sarcomas of the upper extremities in the future.
